I have nearly 18 years experience designing accessories and apparel for some of the largest retailers and brands in the outdoors industry.

You need a versatile designer
I studied Industrial Design in college, but just about my entire career has been focused on softgoods: functional gloves, headwear, bags and apparel.
Working for small design / manufacturing companies allowed me direct contact to every part of that product design process: designing each style, sourcing fabric, reviewing lab dips, size grading and creating packaging die-lines.
As Design Director I honed those skills further, creating and presenting detailed decks to pitch new ideas to secure and evolve new product lines.
